L'Association de droit Lord Reading a décerné à Peter Leuprecht, doyen de la Faculté de droit de l'Université McGill, sa médaille Droits de la personne. «Throughout his life, Dean Leuprecht has devoted much of his energy to human rights and freedoms, whether as Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Europe [...], as Dean of the McGill Faculty of Law, or as the Secretary-General of the United Nations' Special Representative for Human Rights in Cambodia. We cannot think of a more deserving recipient of the Lord Reading Law Society's Human Rights Award», a affirmé le président de l'association, Me Michael D. Levinson.
