Presentation: Journalism is undergoing profound changes with the emergence of digital technologies, social media and so-called citizen media. Press companies are seeking a new business model as traditional boundaries between different types of information media are erased. Newspapers, radio, television and internet media must now produce content for multiple platforms. Today's journalists are responsible for handling audio and video production in addition to providing written content. As the profession of journalism undergoes such changes, universities in Europe and North America are invited to reevaluate the content of their various journalism programs as part of an international conference.
